Senior Captain Obert has 21+ years experience in course development, curriculum development, instructional delivery, and consulting.

Greg Obert has over 35 years of Fire and EMS experience and is currently a 26 year veteran and Senior Captain with the Houston Fire Department. He is a District Training Officer responsible for oversseing the the training requirements for over 35 shift firefighters. He also assist HFD with the Officer Development Program and other professional develoment training department wide. For the past 21 years, Sr. Captain Obert also served as a Program Coordinator and Adjunct Instructor for a Fire Technology Program in the Houston Area and is certified in almost all TCFP/ SFFMA disciplines. He has presented training classes nationally at the Firehouse Expo, regionally throughout the state of Texas, and locally in the Houston area. In addition to training, he recently began providing consulting services providing data analysis and entry, emergency respsonse planning, and code enforcement verifcation.
